An Efficient Partnership

The achievements of the Quebec Society for Wetland Conservation (QSWC) have been made possible thanks to the participation of the general public, the riverside communities as well as the essential contribution of numerous partners who have believed in our projects. These include:

  • The Government of Canada: Environment Canada, the Endangered Species Stewardship Program of the Government of Canada and the Millennium Bureau of Canada;
  • The Government of Québec: the Société de la faune et des parcs du Québec and the ministère de l’Environnement du Québec;
  • Various governmental agreements: the North American Waterfowl Management Plan, the Eastern Habitat Joint Venture, The St. Lawrence Action Plan “Vision 2000” and the Endangered Species Recovery Fund (Canada);
  • In communities: the municipalities and Regional county municipalities involved in our projects;
  • Private corporations: including the Shell Environment Fund and the Friends of the Environment Foundation of the Toronto Dominion Bank Group and;
  • The QSWC Conservation Fund.
